Here’s a question for my fellow liftees. Who was your oldest lifter?
I’ve been meeting someone in his 70s, who wanted to try it. He did several of the classic lifts: piggyback, front carry, shoulder ride, and even cradle and fireman’s carry! He retired from lifting by 75, but he did well up to that point – especially since he had never really lifted anybody before!
You´r a light guy! How big was your lifter?
I,m 69 years old (a bit left to 75!) but old for a lifter!
Each week I carry my 85kg friend on my shoulders for 40-45 minutes in 20 separate rides! Not so bad, I think :)
He was 180cm and about 75kg (5’10” 165 lbs).
It’s fantastic that you’re still actively lifting, taxi! 85kg on your shoulders for that long is impressive.
