i have chosen to stop wrestling, hopefully before my expiry date lol ive made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun over the years, but i think it;s time to call it a day. thank you to all of you :)

sad to see the permanent closure of the Barnet mat room, although glad to have attended the final session there. so many memories...

first, to clarify my previous blog, it is not my intention to stop wrestling, simply that i am being more selective of who and where i roll, whilst being aware that others can be selective too, hence fewer matches.
Secondly, you might like to know that I have begun to put my artwork on a more serious footing, hoping to share it with others (and free up storage space!) so if you're interested let me know.

the site recently told me there has been little activity on my profile. fewer venues and suitable opponents would probably account for this. taken together with declining fitness, i sense this may be the end of my wrestling. there are still guys who i want to roll with, but it takes two, so perhaps the end is close.

after a couple of years where i have felt a significant percentage of my meets have been underwhelming, i was beginning to wonder if my time was up, but this weekend rekindled my mojo - thanks i.a.n
