I mean safety is an issue for meeting, but there’s no problem for them to just make a profile on this site, if they had any interest whatsoever. But they don’t even do that. Meanwhile they’re all over dating sites and fetlife is full of them. So for sex and other fetishes, they’re out there and available and meeting people. But for this site, no sign of female life.
At some point you just have to admit: Universally, they’re just not into this.
I don’t like to generalize an entire gender, but for this case, its true.

Was lucky to have wrestled my ex girlfriend, what made it easier for me to bring up my love of wrestling was that she was a black belt in shotan karate and a bit of a tomboy so felt comfortable talking to her about it so I was very lucky, haven't wrestled a woman since and it's a very difficult situation to approach for me now but maybe one day eh.

I think that is the key. It is nearly impossible to find a woman who will be willing to engage in mixed wrestling unless she already has some sort of personal relationship with you (friend or GF/wife). The only exceptions I’ve seen are paid session girls and women who are more interested in a sexual encounter with wrestling as a form of foreplay.

I am a little confused that this hasn't been mentioned here but: have you thought about, ya know, approaching women who actually do martial arts?

I've had one girlfriend who was a collegiate boxer, I have trained very regularly with a girl who dies bjj and my best friend is in the German national Judo team (and currently unavailable because she has a chance to qualify for Paris '24).

The statistician in me suggests a linkage between women doing martial arts and women being into fighting :D although, obviously, this ist not a perfect correlation.

So if you're into wrestling, I am pretty sure it would help if you check out local Judo Dojos or BJJ Clubs. Or wrestling teams (although that's not that much of a thing where I am from). And it also helps of you're not being a creep on day 1 :D

@Emperor- That route could easily backfire. It may work with female friends of yours, if you know them well, but it would be inadvisable for other men who fetishise female wrestling and fighting to attend clubs or approach athletes on this basis.

Sports like judo and wrestling are ultra protective of women who train in their clubs. Anyone who approaches those women seeking a kink dispenser are likely to be in trouble. Many also don’t like their sport being disrespected - at least that’s the way they see it.

If you train with women on a pure sporting level with you both wanting to improve, then fair enough. A play partnership might develop outside the club. But if the coaches sense anything ulterior, then it’d be a negative experience.

I dealt with this itch by getting involved in my local kink scene. I played down my fetish for wrestling, but my new friends and acquaintances knew I was into it.

After being on the scene and trust developing in that people realised I was not a danger, it eventually got to the point where certain females approached me to discuss and experience wrestling. No deep emotional involvement, but boundaries respected and then came the fun.

Other than that, try dating apps (waste of money and time) or go the pay-for-play route.

I did very much not advise going to a gym and just outright asking folks. I do advise however just taking up martial arts and getting to know people. Form a human connection before even thinking of anything sexual- not just objectify and be horny:D

To be honest there's just not many women on this site in general, you'd need to look elsewhere. As someone else has said I think fitness also plays a big part in it if you don't just wanna pay a session wrestler. A lot of guys can get into the idea but generally most unfit women don't want that. You'd have to find a girl that's either just as kinky as you are or fit enough to get into it

In reality they didn't and when push came to shove they either cried off with illness, car trouble or my dog died. It used to be done by phone but more often now by video link.

Not quite the whole story though. The voice verified group or VV for short has been around for 25 + years. Started by a few women to ( as you say) avoid the fakes and posers and to find other likeminded real women. The group was originally on yahoo and now has moved since yahoos demise. Women need to apply and leave a phone number. A female moderator will call to confirm and verify. The phone number never gets shared or posted anywhere. And that’s it. Not 100% foolproof but best place for real there is. It’s a very small group sadly. Not a lot of members. So word gets around if a poser or male sneaks in

If you're specifically using MF to seek a woman fighter or gf you are not going to get far. Date and socialise in the traditional way and on the second or third meeting tell the person about your wrestling kink. They might one intrigued by it and want to give it a go, or repulsed. If the latter then at least you know you're not wasn't each other's time.
Women who have some competitive sports background are usually good for this, but you are not likely to find them here.

As to your advice about dating my way to a wrestling partner, that is a good plan for some, but not for me under my particular set of circumstances. You have to create your own luck. To the Original Poster: get acquainted with the kink community in your area. Attend the “munches” (which are basically non-kink social gatherings), create a profile on Fetlife and then someone, or a group of people, may express an interest, or have a similar wrestling kink to yours.

I enjoy wrestling with my husband and have wrestled a few guys for fun. Now I like watching my husband wrestle and I'm sometimes the prize for the winner. The wrestling is like foreplay for sex and there has to be a connection and chemistry for it to work.
