covid 19
Gentlemen, I was given a morphine patch for pain and became very unwell, so much I had to go to the hospital and be kept in over night, whilst there I took a covid 19 test, I have been informed today I have tested positive , albeit, mild, I was sweating which an aversion to morphine makes you and sweating. had I not been taken ill due to this medication I would of never known ans gone about my business as usual.

That's true but it's also worth considering whether regular testing is the way forward

20/07/2020 18:53Testing only tells you unfortunately that you are negative at the time of testing. So regular testing would have limited value. Only a vaccine is going to provide the protection that we need.

True, but testing raises the probability of being negative for a short while, provided social distancing etc are observed.
Personally, I'm not shielding. I assume that nor is a person that is willing to meet me. Therefore by definition I'm accepting some risk. A test simply informs me, and whoever I'm with, as to the level of that risk.

You're right. Everyone has to choose the level of risk . Like you I'm not shielding - I simply ask that the guy I meet is - like me - currently showing no evidence of the virus.
