Local man into boxing is coming over tomorrow morning to undergo some version of the stuff I lay out in my blog about getting over your fear of getting punched in the face - https://www.meetfighters.com/punchpignyc.blog/2016-03-30 - which means we're BOTH gonna have a good time. He said he liked the red gloves he saw in one of my pics. Those are my 6 oz Everlasts which I got sometime in the mid-80s. I remember hearing from the guy who sold them to me that they were the last 6 oz pro gloves Everlast made since for pro fights gloves now had to be 8 oz. But with my twisted love of light gloves (they bust u up easier) I felt like I got The Prize. Those gloves have hammered & jabbed a lot of male flesh over the years - as you can see I've patched one up with red duct tape. But I still love them. And they'll be just the thing to greet my puncher-wanna-be coming over tomorrow morning. They'll be a big part of why we'll really enjoy ourselves.
