Injury 26/10/2020 - Golf Elbow?
So recently I've experience some pain on my left elbow when working out, especially on my pull days workouts (pull-ups, deadlifts, etc).
After a few months the pain doesn't get better and sometimes it even feel worse than before. My original GP diagnose me with tennis elbow (which is ironic considering I never touched tennis) and prescribed me with some painkillers and time off from gym. After the time off cools down, I am still having some pain and that's when they refer me to a specialist. Thank god for company insurance lol.
The specialist then told me instead of tennis elbow, I have golf elbow (again, I never touch golf lol). Now instead of just pain killers I now have to go through some physiotherapy as well. Not only I feel like this is helping me get better, but the physiotherapist also noticed that I have hyperextended limbs (my limbs can extend beyond normal safe angles) and that could be the cause of my injuries. So now he's also teaching my to be more aware of my elbow limits as well and how to correct my forms better.
TLDR - elbow ish ouchie, go see a specialist! Thanks for reading lol.
P.s. Picture has nothing to do with the story, just a thirst trap I suppose. ;)

05/11/2020 13:04If it flares up again, try soaking your while arm up to the elbow in a sink with water and ice. Hold it as long as you can, remove. Repeat one or two more times that session. 2 or three sessions over 24 hours should help.
